Genesis 1:3 – 5 – It was Light, It Was Dark

Genesis 1:3-5 :And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that  the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”.  And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day.

Considering that God can stare into the darkness and speak light into existence, it does not seem wise for one to challenge God. This kind of power is greater and more terrifying than any power we will ever create. In the first 5 verses, God has told us where the foundation of our planet has come from.  I am guessing he set the planet into its current rotational pattern:  it was light, it was dark. Every since then, we have had light and dark, separating night and day in a pattern more reliable than even our most prompt airline.  The rotation of the planet is so reliable that astrophysics can base calculations on the rotational speed and place objects into orbit. Planets, are the only form of perpetual motion that I have knowledge of. Scientist have been trying to replicate perpetual motion for centuries. God spoke it into existence.

It is wonderful to be a child of God. He has the power to bring all things into existence by merely speaking of it. He also has the power to speak our enemies out of existence in the great and final battle.

Thank God for every breath, and know He will carry you through the final battle…
