June 19, 2010 – Headed for On The River Golf RV resort in Myrtle Creek Oregon

Road trip again today. 11:30am – 3:30pm traveled from Salem Oregon to Myrtle Creek Oregon by going straight south on the I5 corridor, looks like we are travelers now. Wished we could be in Portland today visiting Steve while he is in town, but I guess we will catch him in Utah. Had a good visit with Dad today before we left, could not see Randy he has been required to work too much. The drive down was smooth, no problems on the road and the weather was pleasant.
This camp ground https://sites.google.com/site/travelinginasafari2010/photo-albums/06192010 is real small on about 20 acres that are designed in a really creative manner. The person who came up with this place should be commended for creativity of land use, and appeal. The park is very clean, allows rigs of all ages, and manages to look very good. There are probably 40 – 50 spaces in here and a 6 hole golf course with 40 to 70 yard fairways. Perfect for a 9 iron, a putter, and amateur golfers. Sarah was a perfect fit. It is late for me and the rain is putting me to sleep, so this is the end of another day on the road for us. See the campground web site at www.ontherivergolf-rv.com. (WIFI – is not great here, but we did not come for the WIFI!)
Good day and Good Night
