Paul gave us these before we left Richland. It turns out that smoking a rope is illegal, but I guess one can eat one. (Check it out, the pink writing claims one ingredient to be hemp!)
Now for the trip down from Rupert: The first thing we must state is we have never been so glad to leave a state park. The motor home was brown with bugs of some unknown species, and big ones too. We got on the road all went well until we got to Salt lake city, then we found the worst construction zone of the 600 miles of construction we had been in to date. The lanes were just wide enough for a smart car, but there were anywhere from three to seven in each direction, and the people drive 80 MPH, tailgate and change lanes as if they were snakes slithering through twigs. One semi thought if he rubbed our front fender with his tractor maybe we would let him in; It worked, when I told Athena to apply the breaks he slipped in with a credit cards width to spare. He did a great job, but I rank him at the bottom of the moron class, not even qualified for a dunce cap.
The way people drive here leads me to believe their faith is strong, they must know where they are going when they die, and they are in a hurry to get there! We saw churches everywhere, and funeral parlors offering discounts. Business should be good.
Tomorrow we will do some running around and there will be more to show.
