Gold Beach – June 25, 2010

After 8 loads of laundry, we hit another beach. Out of five beaches we took a walk on between Gold Beach and Charelston Oregon, four had driftwood forts. The fort in the picture here, was the most elaborate yet. This fort had inside an out side quarters, and appears to have been here for some time. The beach is a wildlife refuse where seals, birds and other critters are left to create what looks like icing on the rock islands. The wild life groups say do not go on the islands, not problem from my perspective, that glaze the birds put there on the rocks, is not frosting!

We also splurged big time today and ate some classy food at Dairy Queen. I had chicken and a Dilly bar, and it cost us the same amount as our last trip to Olive Garden. Hey! if you want class, you gotta pay for it!!.

Have a good evening! I am looking forward to down time, I am dead today.
