Stop in our new home -> Our 17th Anniversary June 5th 2010 – Sunriver

Today we spent the day doing nothing, probably a first since we sold the house. Tonight we have baked potatoes and BBQ Rib Eye. No sun here yet, but the weather is very pleasant. River is full and swift. The park is very nice, and extremely large. We walked for a couple hours, but never saw it all. Athena and the girls had Sundaes at the ice cream social, Ice cream seemed to be quite good. (See Sarah in the pictures and notes area.) We are 3 hours 20 minutes from Salem. Grocery shopping is a trip! Prices at “Food 4 Less” equivalent to Fred Myers in Salem. We will try Cosco next time and see if that is any better.  Shopping for 2 meals at “Food 4 Less” $55.00

Had supper at Shari’s in Bend, kids had chicken strips, and fruit. Athena had a really good chicken fajita omlette, I had a butchered swiss mushroom burger. Dinner was $30.00. We left just in time; the restaurant filled with about 25 gang looking people; and the servers were arguing over who’s turn it was to serve them.

To say the least, it has been a nice day today for all of us so far.  Photos Below:
