August 20, 2010 – Traveling to Amboy Illinois

260 miles of flat green space go by today as we travel north through the state. We saw miles of corn all brown and dead looking. We have to find out why they did not yet harvest it. Most people eat their corn before it is hardened. They seem to be taking the term “vine ripened” a little far. We got into town here, the motor home registered the temperature out doors at 110 degrees, but a storm rolled in. Now it is 80 degrees and 80 percent humidity. The park we are in had about 500 campsites, but manages to have wildlife like in our picture, a large lake, water slide, mini golf and an arcade along with poker at $15.00 a hand for the daring. If you are a kid you can get bingo cards at a quarter a play.
This state is flat, but green.
Which way do we go now?

Good evening. I am too wiped to think any more!
