October 29, 2010 – Arrive at Natchez Trace and Reallocate Resources – Rolling Shoe Box
We arrive at our campsite, park and discover no picnic table in our site, so we must steal what has been rightfully stolen to secure a place for our derriere. Athena and the girls make short work of furnishing our site while I fire the BBQ and make burgers and popcorn for supper. We did not do much else today as it was a medium size travel day from Kentucky to Natchez Trace. The community is primarily Swiss and Amish. Until this trip I thought Amish were just a small number of people in Pennsylvania, but we have found their communities in Kansas, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, and now again in Tennessee. That is a lot of Black carts, Black fabric, Brown horses, and Brown horse excrement.
Have a wonderful Shabbat
