We arrived in Newport Oregon July 29, 2012, was a long drive from Chehalis, more than the RV and I could take. Shortly after arriving at the park here in New port, I began rearranging the furniture with the RV.
Well we tried to take this post to our camp site with us. The first left in the park is a killer. The park staff were nice, and we were to settle with the damage with them. They were better than fair.
The RV on the other hand now has a little more character. Does any one know how to get brown latex paint off metal and save the original finish? We will have to get a 2×4 cut to the right angle to put the rocker panel back in place. I was hoping to be bored this week. 🙁
I found Lazarus tomb, but could not find the entry stone. He must have took it with him when he left. So I was not able keep these two in there.
We went to the bay front in Newport with the Carpenter family, Holly went in to see what the under water aquarium is charging, she is returning with the bad news. We all decided to go to the Marine Hatfield Science Center instead. We always do this before going to the Free Marine Hatfield Science Center..
We saw and the touch tank, and began discussing the critters in there.
After the science center, we drove to the beach and began looking for tide pools.
Some signs of life
Salt from the spray of the ocean waves caking on the rock bluffs
odd looking plant life on the rocks in this cove. There is also one lonely star fish down there.
Looks like a real tide pool may have been spotted
Yes, a very model of a perfect tide pool formed by natures very own hand.
What does Holly do when at the beach looking for tide pools? She texts her friends of course.
Supper time, we are back at camp.
Back to the beach! This time looking for a sunset
We found a sunset, they are so cool! Wish it was not so cold here, I could hang out on the beach all night, except the day wore me out big time, and did I mention, it is cold here.
They are talking about how fast the sun went down.
We had a really nice time hanging out with Sunshine, Shawn, and their kids all day. We had some very intense discussions regarding their very “Pacific Northwest” view point on politics, and Christians, but we love them even though our views are foreign to one another.
