The fire between camp and Sisters Oregon seems to be growing. We are getting Nu-finish for the RV. You can buy it in our store. Hope the fire dies down.Holly is placing nu-finish. It polishes the RV and is supposed to protect it for a year. Since we expose this rig to many harsh climates we put it on each fall and spring.Sarah is doing detail workAthena is polishing as well. My job is to be cheerleader. Some day maybe I will be hired by the Dallas Cowboys. My family says I am that good.Holly and Athena started cleaning this roof, it had black stuff growing on it and was virtually black. RV wash, roof and mildew cleaner, and even black spot remover were to no avail. Holly got the idea of using magic eraser, and 409. The roof now is as white as it was when new. My ladies are awesome! Sarah took all the roof photos, and did a great job too.Holly polished the horns and they look new as well. (I used these today to let a guy know that he could not share my lane with me. It worked!)We grabbed our friends Mark and Sue and headed off to see Tumalo Falls,They took a picture of usWe took a picture of themAll together nowAthena is showing the girls something cool, but they are kind of disturbed by the smoke.Holly is looking over the edge, Athena is texting
Smoke is getting really plentifulSmoke is getting really plentiful. Too much for us, we are heading out to get Ice cream at GoodiesCool Sky, but the fire is getting ominousThe sun turned into a citrus fruit. We hook up the RV and head to the coast. Ice Cream another day. Athena is allergic to smokeWe are now headed the beach, and down hwy 20 through sisters to the beach. The air stinks here and everything gets white ash on it.Poor vendors, no one here to buy anything, The news says the air is hazardous and to seal your self in the house. The outdoor market did not get the message. The last of the smoke for us, we are getting out of Dodge. We Programmed the Rand Mc Nalley to take us to Newport Oregon. It hates us! Told us to turn up a one lane logging road it would only take 3 hours to get to Albany from Sisters. We ignored it, too 22 to I5 to 34 to 101, and made newport in 4 hours. Conclusion, the GPS was just trying to kill us, and is possessed. Ignoring its criminal intent left us happily sitting in the FOG in Newport Oregon. Fog smells better than smoke, so we are happy!
Well, hope you had a good time learning about RV polishing and touring Tumalo falls and the Sisters fire with us. They closed Tumalo falls due to the smoke just after we left. Hopefully it will be there for us all to tour again next year.
