Our visit was short, and another family vacation with Steve and Family has come to its terminal end. We are looking at joining together again someplace in the Northwest Midsummer 2013. What ever we do, I am sure it will be fun, and really cool. Until we meet again…..
Good Evening and Good Night….
Notes:
We did not see Antelope Canyon as the Navajos charge $40.00 plus a $6 Navajo usage fee to see the cave. Our group would have been set back $500.00
We did not see antelope Canyon South as it was $26.00 a person.
Boat Rentals on the lake start at $270.00 a day plus that much again in fees, and will only seat 7. We were looking at about $1,000 for a boat for our group.
We found that in order to do the major attractions in the Lake Powell area, you need to be made of money, and willing to give an arm and a leg.
If you are not boating, we would recommend staying in Kanab, Utah. Drive 1 hour over to Lake Powell to see the Glenn Canyon Dam, and Horseshoe Bend. The dam tour is $5.00 per person, and Horseshoe Bend is free at this time.
