This last week has been the typical rat race, that nearly everyone experiences. We got settled into our camp site here at Little Diamond Thousand Trails, then the real work began. Shopping, medical stuff, and RV medical stuff. The RV has the worst of the deal, as when it breaks a bone, or loses a piece, it does not heal or grow back, instead we have to look for the parts, then find they have changed in format since 2006, and we have to break or modify them to get them to fit into place. If you break and arm, typically it heals back on its own with a bit of help from a DR. the lesson, is always protect your RV even if you have to shield it with your body.
On Sunday, we asked Sarah what she wanted for her Birthday, she emphatically stated “STEAK!” and just about that time we happened on to the Golden Corral a steak restaurant / Buffet that serves unlimited steak. Sarah was in heaven, for a few hours anyway, which is about all one can expect while breathing. We stuffed our selves like turkeys being dressed for dinner, then rolled out of the restaurant to complete our shopping.
Three more days have to pass, but we want to buy Sarah a good gift for her Birthday, we ask her again, what do you want for your Birthday? Answer: Hex bugs, and more steak! Back to town we went, I bought a a side of beef, Athena bought a Hex bug
Theses are crazy little plastic things that are self propelled via vibration and watch batteries. Seems to be all the rage with kids these days, but I don’t understand it.
My mom and Step dad came, I cooked up all the steak, Holly baked potatoes, and Athena boiled broccoli. We ate a great big steak dinner, only Sarah sent hers back to the cook, because it was not burnt enough.
Well, I have certainly been writing too much, there is a beautiful woman standing behind me modeling a swim suit and inviting me to the hot tub. It happens to all of us great photographer / authors, so hard to get any thing done.
Have a good evening and a good night….
