In California so long we were afraid becoming Californians. Holly was already turning in to one.
One should use caution when bringing his young girls to California. They are especially susceptible to becoming Californians. The girls get too close to the California boys and get boy germs. These boy germs attract more boys! Before you know it, your girls will be bathed in paranormal attention, that they can no longer resist. Once this happens getting your girls out of California is like pulling an onion bulb out of the dry summer baked soil in late August. I hate to think what would happen to a family who stayed several months at once in California. I bet they would start thinking that all that tax they pay every day is reasonable, or worse, ask to pay more!
Actually, we had a nice visit in California, and want to thank Margie and her family for showing us around, and proving to us that there are very few Democrats in California. The time however has come, and we are headed to Arizona to see Steve, Martin, Mark, and Sue. Here is the trip to Arizona via a nuts shell:
We Leave Wilderness Lakes Thousand Trails, Dead Headed to Verde Valley Arizona taking I-215 to Hwy 60 to I 10 to I- 17 in Phoenix, ending on Arizona Hwy 260. Approximately 450 miles. One planned fuel stop at the Flying J in Quartzsite Arizona. This is a pictorial lay of the land for this run.
