Slots are everywhere
Slot Machine Facade – Right on!
Nissan race car for the street
I love expensive cars! Especially rentals with all the insurance coverage
Brown Liberty
Lady Liberty in living cocoa
The Light of my Life
The woman who out shines lady liberty, the light of my world
The pillar of light that goes no where
The luxor with its light so bright, reminds me of the light that guided the Israelites in the pre-christian era under the leadership of Moses. This can be seen from Lake Mead National Park, and we can reliably find Vegas from anywhere using. Unlike the light of Moses, this one will lead one no where.
Sphinx of the Luxor
Half man, half building
Strip at night
Las Vegas, Las Vegas Where else can you do a million slots all at a quarter to three.. We notice the casinos make it hard to tell if it is day or night be keeping their doors dark. You can get lost in them for days, so carry food money.
Lady Liberty
Lady Liberty drifted from her moral duty at Ellis Island, and is now joining into the carnal decadence of the Las Vegas Strip
Luxor and dead boddies
The Luxor, all roads lead to the Luxor where you will find a museum full of really dead people! Believe it or not dead things cost as much to look at as two good movies. Don’t see boddies, see a zombie movie, it is sure to be more tasteful.
Paris
Dang, the strip wants every one to only go there, so they just moved New York, Rome, and Paris here. Now no one needs one of those long international flights to see a bunch of cities that are probably as over rated as Las Vegas.
Gorgeous woman
Something Beautiful a midst the gardens in the Bellagio
Las Vegas 18
We are checking out Government wash making sure the Rally will fit. Athena gets a call with a job offer in Vegas starting in a day.

The Rally is two days away, we move out of Vegas, park in a big parking lot where the National Park service told us to have the rally. We are expecting 22 rigs and about 100 attendees.

 picking all the nails
We were enjoying the view and picking all the nails up from the lot from a previous group when the Ranger showed. We were quite sure he would be appreciative of our good deed, but he got out of his rig and seemed rather cross. He said we could not camp here, it was against federal law! I told him there were 22 more RV’s on the way, and the central office did in fact tell us to use this space. He questioned our integrity, and we said we would move. We were not out to put a bur in anyone’ saddle. He then proceeded to tell us about a no camping sign that was clearly marked, I told him I was sure there was one one, but I failed to see it. He got more cross. I guess he was having a bad day. We of course moved and found a very nice spot with an even better view. We knew we would have to give up the site when the rally figures out where we are.

Athena Leave
Athena had to leave for work in Las Vegas the first day of the Rally
ouch bent the jack
Travel trailer at the rally roles forward and bends the stabilizer jacks as people start showing up.

Last note: Good food is hard to get at a price a working person can spend, so go to Ellis Island and venture into the CAFE and ask for the steak special. You get a large New York Strip Steak, potato, and vegetable for $8.99 or get the prime rib which is a slab for 11.99.
